Have you ever noticed that on a rainy day certain colors seem to stick out more than others? Is it just me? Am I imagining it?
Oranges, while not vibrant, definitely seem more powerful:
Green plants seem, while obviously a bit darker because of the overcast skys, at the same time more vibrant?
The water on rocks, soaked lightly into the ground, just below the surface seems to bring the sharp edges more solidly into focus:
I mean, is it just me? I love the sun, but sometimes I think that rain can bring out some of the best parts of the world around us. It's just absolutely amazing, and I love it.
Then, I look out the window, and while it's lovely, I'd also like for a nice ray of sunshine so I can go out and play with my dogs. Heh. Downs and ups to every part of life, no?
On a completely different note, I went to class today, and this was outside the building. Let me stress, this was outside the actual building.
I went in anyway.

Love the color and composition of the church photo.
I love the greens outside after a rain and just before the sun comes back out - it's muted and vibrant at the same time.
